We love racing and building. But we always wanted the process to be easier and faster. So that’s why we built these tools.
Matt is a racer and the CEO. He built this company on open source principles. Because he believes that price should not be a reason to stop you from better building, and that no good company is built on secrets. All our intellectual property is available for free and we educate through videos on YouTube. Matt loves motorsports and enjoys talking one on one with customers and meeting people at the track. If you call the shop odds are you will be talking to Matt on the phone.
Kevin built sand rails and other various race cars for years. He did that line of work for others and was always wanting more from management. He wanted better tools and more training and never received it. He met Matt at work one day and the two really clicked. They decide they would make a business together and do it better. Together in 2014 Centurial was created. Kevin handles most of the R&D. Making new products and building cars.
The Centurial name means “The action of taking 100 years”. It pays homage to Henry Ford and the great things he did in manufacturing. Today, 100+ years latter, the environment has changed. We use 3D printers and all our products are made with them. This style of manufacturing is extremely accessible and any new products can easily be distributed digitally. Anything we design today can be made world wide tomorrow just by a click of a button. Henry Ford would be proud of that.
As an open source company we do much more than just sell the digital downloads. We allow our customers to vote on design changes and when new products begin. The public influences the design through voting. This way we make new things with the guidance of you our customer. Along the way we show you how business works and why things are the way they are. For anyone making their own business we like to help by showing the way.
Get involved. We run votes on a lot of our projects. You get to help build these fantastic creations. Follow us on FaceBook, Instagram and YouTube. Be sure to subscribe and follow so you don’t miss out on the action, engine starts, test drives, and all the learning.
